We help future entrepreneurs plant and grow little saplings of their start-ups keeping in mind their special needs—geographical (which becomes important because of the demographic specificity of our mission), the sources available to them, the tactics, they plan to implement, their target areas and of course, their capacity towards a sustained effort. We evaluate them, so our energies and resources are used in the best possible way.
The SOUTH BLOCK of the proposed JEC-P building is expected to be a home for incubation activities. It’ll have a multi-purpose hall designed with an inspiring view of the Banyan Tree and can be doubled up as a seminar space to accommodate 300 people. It can also be split into two sections for events like workshops/ group discussions. And of course, there’ll be a separate co-working area for 36 incubatees on the first floor.
The idea is to inculcate a spirit of entrepreneurship. Locals have problems, no doubt, but more often than not, they are aware of new vistas opening up every day. So awareness is the first step.
We are a vast network of mentors and CEOs of successful organizations who are forever trying to help and learning from each other. Mentorship is the most important aspect of the 6 Ms.
As explained previously, the market depth of Jagriti is well known. Jagriti’s feet in the market are sunk deep. We are almost everywhere—when it comes to India. And even in the international domain, Jagriti’s wings are expanding with every passing day.
JEC-P’s mission is to create such a network-based eco-system that any potential youngster may be helped with the required seed-money as soon as she proves her mettle and starts with the task.
‘Mahol’ is Hindi for ambience. But that’s only in a literal sense. In the way we mean it, Mahol is ‘ecosystem’; a local one which is conducive to the incubation of local enterprises.
We don’t leave a potential entrepreneur after lending her some money, or doing some mentoring—which is important, but not sufficient. We stick with them for long. We help them learn the finer nuances of how to present themselves; so they can cater even to the international market.
